Warranty Policy

Depending of the the item, its’ use, and condition, warranty outcomes may vary. Each warranty is handled on a case by case basis with the manufacturer and may result in a credit, replacement, or repair.

Warranty on brands that we carry

New products sold by Live To Surf are covered by the individual manufacturer's warranty. Please check the manufacturer's website for information regarding their specific warranty policy.

The manufacturer will make the warranty decisions and Live To Surf can assist during the process. Some manufacturers will allow Live To Surf to process the warranty while others may handle warranty claims directly with the consumer, removing Live To Surf from the warranty process.

Purchases of "Used/Consignment" gear will not include a warranty and some final sale items may not include a warranty.

Warranty on Live To Surf branded items

Please review the warranty for each Live To Surf product shown on the product’s page.

Return shipping on warranty claims is the responsibility of the buyer. Expenses that may arise as a result of a warranty matter are not covered by Live To Surf or the manufacturer.

Warranty claim process through Live To Surf

Step 1: Determining whether the damage can be covered by warranty. See above for locating warranty information.

Please note that the following is NOT covered by warranty:

  • Normal wear from product use. (rub holes in wetsuits)
  • Excessive wear in a short period of time. (if you surf 2-3 times/day, you can expect your gear to wear out much faster)
  • Commercial or Professional use.
  • Damage resulting from contact with objects. (dings in boards or fin cuts to surfboards, leashes, wetsuits, etc.)
  • Damage to product resulting from improper care or mis-use. (not performing a proper pop-up on a surfboard can cause damage to it. It’s important to understand how to use your products properly)
  • Parts, hardware, accessories that were lost or have gone missing AFTER receiving your shipment.

Most warranties are resolved in a timely manner and are processed in the order they are received. Please note that warranties may be handled directly by the manufacturer and can occasionally be a lengthy process. Live To Surf will assist in the process when possible.

Step 3: We will contact you with further instruction.

Step 4: The manufacturer will provide you with all the details required to proceed.
