At Live To Surf, we are always looking for ways to be better environmental stewards. We identify the ocean
as being critical to the economy, transportation, the air we breathe, climate regulation, food & medicine
sources and also a great place for recreation.
We are proud to recycle almost everything that comes through our shop. Paper, cardboard, plastic, and metals are all separated and delivered to local and non-local recycling depots. We use energy efficient lighting, and appliances. Our wetsuit drying process and shop heating uses mostly recycled heat. We also encourage our staff to use alternative transportation methods such as bikes and skateboards, and provide staff accommodation within close proximity to work & the beach.
Our products are human powered! Surfboards, skateboards, skimboards, bicycles and Stand Up Paddle boards are all human powered eco methods of transportation. We have a large selection of epoxy surfboards, limestone neoprene and bamboo wetsuits and carry several brands of organic & soy surf wax, and various other Eco-conscious brands and products.
