The coastal weather station's barometer lets you track weather patterns and forecasts expected weather conditions, by displaying the current atmospheric pressure reading. You can track the direction in pressure changes by periodically aligning the outer guide. Movement towards higher pressure generally indicates a period of fairer, more settled weather; while a drop in atmospheric pressure is often a sign that stormy, unsettled weather is approaching.
