Hi!

"Japan must also consume goods from other countries like China, so would the products be sold with Chinese labels, or Japanese labels?"

I'm a former resident of Japan. Virtually all goods sold in Japan have Japanese labels (sometimes with Japanglish mixed in). The 'Made in China' note is usually English. I suspect we have more multi-lingual labels including Chinese here in Canada than you will find in Japan.

Hi there! If anyone is curious, the plastic bottle from Japan says it's from Kobe, so not near the tsunami area at all. I'm currently living in Japan and have never seen that brand of drink. It's probably a local drink only available in Kobe and it would be very unlikely that it's from the tsunami disaster, as the scientist said.

I know it sounds crazy, but you know when those swells start to rise and the adrenaline starts pumping.. That Tsunami siren might be more of a call "surfs-up" alert then a warning to leave.. I'm just saying....
